Kilimore4cus is a dynamic agribusiness and storytelling platform committed to transforming agriculture into a desirable, sustainable, and profitable venture for young people and smallholder farmers in Africa. Rooted in experiential learning and real-life storytelling, we blend on-ground farming with digital content creation to educate, inspire, and build resilient farmer communities.
Operations & Comms Manager
To be Africa’s leading farm-based storytelling platform, transforming agriculture through innovation, empowerment, and authentic farmer-led narratives.
To educate, inspire, and equip the next generation of African farmers by modeling sustainable
agriculture, creating access to knowledge, and reshaping how farming is perceived and practiced.
• Authenticity – We share the real journey: the wins, the failures, and everything in between.
• Impact – Our work is anchored in community, sustainability, and empowerment.
• Innovation – We embrace technology and storytelling to scale agricultural learning.
• Resilience – We believe in building long-term, future-proof farming models.
At Kilimore4cus, we are addressing the pressing issue of youth unemployment and the aging farmer population in Kenya. With over 800,000 youth entering the job market annually and limited formal employment opportunities, agriculture presents a largely untapped avenue for sustainable livelihoods. Yet, the average age of a Kenyan farmer is approximately 60 years old, signaling a generational gap and the urgent need to engage younger people in the sector.
We promote good agricultural practices such as crop rotation, organic composting, and
integrated pest management, equipping the community with skills for resilient farming.
Through our digital platforms, we share real stories from African farmers, showcase practical
technologies, and create relatable, experience-based learning content.
With over nine years of experience across NGOs, private agribusiness, and large-scale farming, I
bring a rich network of resources and practical insights that we make accessible to young people
and communities. Our platform uniquely blends digital storytelling with on-farm learning,
allowing audiences to connect emotionally while gaining technical knowledge. By bridging inspiration with education, and combining grassroots practice with strategic partnerships,
Kilimore4cus is not just promoting farming—it’s building a new generation of empowered, informed, and resilient African agripreneurs.
Our current market primarily consists of local consumers, young aspiring farmers, and agribusinesses within Kenya. We sell fresh produce directly to households, small retailers, and farm gate buyers, while our digital content targets a growing base of youth under 35, who form over 75% of Kenya’s population, many of whom are exploring agriculture as a viable livelihood.
With over 800,000 young people entering the job market annually and a national push toward
food security and youth employment, our hybrid model—combining farming with digital storytelling and agribusiness partnerships—is well positioned to scale. As internet and smartphone penetration increase, so does our ability to reach broader audiences.
